“Personally identifiable information” or “personal information” is information you provide to NVS that is uniquely associated with you, such as your name, physical mailing address, email address and telephone number. Information identifying an entity other than an individual does not constitute personally identifiable information.
Anonymous Access to Website. Visitors can access NVS’s Web page and browse the Website without disclosing their personally identifiable information. However, once you e-mail NVS you will disclose personally identifiable information and are no longer anonymous to NVS.
Information Provided by Visitors. NVS collects personal information you voluntarily provide, such as your e-mail address when you communicate with NVS via e-mail. You may also be asked to provide information so that NVS may provide information and assistance to you.
NVS may not provide you with notice prior to disclosure in such cases.
Children’s Privacy. NVS does not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from or about children under 13. Neither posting of solicitations nor registration of a profile is available to anyone under the age of 13. In the event NVS discovers that it has received any information from a child under 13 in violation of this policy, NVS will delete that information immediately. If you believe NVS has any information from or about anyone under 13, please contact NVS at the address listed below.
Access to information NVS may hold on you. Upon request, NVS will provide you with access to all personal information, including proprietary information, which NVS maintains about you, although you may first be requested to provide proof of your identity. You can request this information by sending NVS an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. You may challenge or correct such information by sending NVS an e-mail at email@example.com. Notwithstanding the foregoing, NVS reserves its right, in its sole discretion, to refuse to provide you with a copy of your personal information.
Security. NVS has implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal information under its control against loss, misuse, and/or alteration. All NVS employees who have access to, and are associated with, the processing of personal information, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your personal information. While NVS strives to protect your personal information and make all commercially reasonable efforts to do so, NVS cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information collected by NVS online. All information transmitted to NVS is at your own risk.
Non-US Visitors. If you are not a resident of the United States, you understand and agree that NVS transfers, stores and processes your personal information on computers located in the United States, and by using the Website, you consent to the transfer of such information to the United States.
